Spencer Haws created Niche Pursuits originally as a way to discuss the various business ideas he was trying out.  However, he’s since honed in on a few areas of business; namely: creating niche websites (in lots of different niches), buying and selling websites, running a software company (Long Tail Pro), and recently selling physical products through Amazon FBA.

Spencer shares what I’m learning along the way in regards to SEO, creating valuable businesses online, and of course the tips and tricks he may discover for business in general.

While working full-time, Spencer discovered the online space and it wasn’t long before he found his way around WordPress and from there transitioned to working full-time in his online business.

Hershey Hilado is not your typical 24 year old. Her difficult upbringing enabled her to develop the resilience and natural drive about life that is too infectious to ignore.

Growing up in an environment of physical and emotional abuse she became a parent to 7 of her siblings at a mere age of 14. Her father was murdered by her own uncle when she was 12. Her own Mother traded her for money when she was only 15 and forced her to marry a man 3 times her age when she was 16.

After escaping that terrible ordeal she became homeless for 2 years and eventually found the comfort of her Father’s family when she found out where they live.

At 18 she moved to Australia and started her own business 2 years later. Today, she runs a Women’s Fashion Label called Ohmagosh and now being sold in over 15 countries across the globe. She is also a serial social media entrepreneur and business strategist that helps Australia’s top speakers get their brand online and have their message heard globally through the Speakers Institute, an incubator of speaker talent with the ability to transform people’s message into a powerful and commercial message that the world needs to hear.

Brendan Ridings graduated from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale with a Bachelor’s of Science focusing on Human Nutrition and Dietetics. While attaining his degree, Brendan won World and National Collegiate power-lifting championships. Brendan went on to attain his Corrective Exercise Specialty from The National Academy of Sports Medicine. Brendan began to expand beyond the fitness world to help fund the organization named PLAT, a school in Haiti, invented Posture PT back support with 500% funding on Kickstarter, and recently partnered with the Make in India initiative to develop and implement advanced wound care to underprivileged populations.

Chris Guthrie got had his interest in online business peaked by a pop-up ad on video game. From there, he started a journey into learning how to really make money online. Lucky for Chris, he started creating income before he actually needed it, and by the time he needed it, he had been let go from his job.

From there, Chris found it to be a better strategy to build software rather than to just affiliate mark. While affiliate marketing still remained a large tool in his tool box, he began focusing on software to make the lives of other marketers easy.

I think one of the main problems with new entrepreneurs is they think it will be way too easy; they try one thing, the seas get a little rough and they are done. To really be successful and to really create life on your own terms, you’re going to have to hustle. Find ONE thing that you can do, and do a lot of push the gas down and start work your butt off.
