About This Episode:

Riddick Lamont Bowe is a retired American professional boxer who competed between 1989 and 2008. He reigned as the undisputed world heavyweight champion in 1992, and as an amateur he won a silver medal in the super heavyweight division at the 1988 Summer Olympics.

After turning professional in 1989, Bowe went on to become a two-time world heavyweight champion. In 1992 he won the undisputed WBA, WBC and IBF titles by defeating then-unbeaten former undisputed heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield.

That same year, Bowe was named Fighter of the Year by The Ring and the Boxing Writers' Association of America. Bowe vacated the WBC title later that year in protest, instead of defending the title against their number one contender, Lennox Lewis

This left the undisputed championship fragmented until 1999. In a rematch with Holyfield in 1993, Bowe narrowly lost the WBA and IBF titles in what would be his only professional defeat.

About This Episode:

With a voracious curiosity, fueled in part by an IQ in the top .03% of the planet, this rough and tumble Texan was riding horses solo by the time he was 5, calling the cattle home with his grandfather. In his early twenties, finally a full-grown cowboy, he switched to riding bulls.

Lee has shared the screen and stage with Oscar/Golden Globe winners and Hollywood legends alike, while living and working in Hollywood. During that season he also taught at a top acting school and developed The 7 Steps to Getting on Set, to help actors understand the business of Hollywood and their own tools to succeed.

After remodeling and flipping houses, and penning his first successful novel, Lee ventured into two fields of no previous knowledge, GPS and franchise car dealers.

He quickly rose to national director at one GPS company, then VP/Partner at a new one he helped launch, before also taking on the title of COO/Advisor to the Board and Shareholder of yet another, all while starting more companies in other industries as far afield as social media and on-line selling.

Inspired by the success he was experiencing in business, spirit and family life alike, (and as he will tell you, “All the damn fun I’m having!”), as well as his passion for helping others, Lee began delivering seminars on the Game of Life and How to Win It.

About This Episode:

I’ve made it my mission in life to understand what makes people the greatest in the world. I’ve interviewed nearly 800 world-class individuals: Grant Cardone, Seth Godin, 3X Indianapolis 500 Winner Helio Castroneves, Rock N Roll Hall of Fame member of the Eagles Don Felder, former CIA Director Gen. David Petraeus, the CEO of Quest Nutrition Tom Bilyeu, World Series Champion Nick Swisher and many more.

I have found that though their walks of life are different, the principles that make them successful are exactly the same. Those are the principles in this book.

We heard from so many of you that you missed the pre-launch so its opened back up. In this episode we’re going to focus on one of the concepts from the book: adversity. Adversity can be an incredible tool for growth. We’re going to discuss that today.
